With the project launched, most participant inquiries will now be received by Over the Shoulder's help desk, if this is not the case, feel free to direct any inquiries to admin@overtheshoulder.com.

Here's a helpful list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) that participants may ask during a project, and the answers to them.




Sometimes, we need your help with issues like the following:


Connecting with unreachable participants

If we're unable to get an email invitation to be successfully received by a particpant, we may reach out to you to confirm their email address associated with Over the Shoulder, or request another working email address so that we can get their email invitation to them and get them started on the app.



Chasing down stragglers

If participants fall behind in the project, or stop responding, we may ask you to reach out to them directly to encourage them to continue participating or see if they're having an issue that we can help them with.



Replacing no-shows or dropouts

We design our projects so that we over recruit in the inital recruiting effort because we know that there maybe a few participants that may no longer be interested in participating. If dropout is high, or if there are participants who aren't giving useful responses, won't fully participate, or turn out to be improperly recruited, we may contact you and ask you to replace them.
